Lasting Echoes

Lasting Echoes is the home for poetry : free verses, formed poems, prose, lyrics are all welcome.

Short stories are allowed too, but we would like to warn short stories writers about some difficulties. Most part of our members are here to read poems, with (very) few will to read long texts. Plus, these long texts are often a pain for the eyes to be read on a screen, much much more than on paper.

Until troublemakers will make them necessary, there is no posting guidelines.

Although, we would like to be sure you are aware that some simple courtesy with the co-members of this community consisting into reading their work(s) and telling your thoughts will bring you readers.
Give your lines a chance to be read and appreciated by reading and showing your pleasure to read other poet's lines.

As you may have noticed, categories for poems are quite different than what is usually offered. If you don't know where to post one of your work or you ask before, or you post it and we will move it.

All Steps :
Life, society, facts, concepts, policy (in a positive way)...

All Hearts :
Love, romance. When it's happy or sad, sorrowing or elating.

All Kids :
Poems for the children, fairy tales, nursery rhymes...

All Days :
Poems about history : yesterday or thousan centuries ago, very true or legendary...

All Dreams :
Anything that doesn't belong to the real World : fantasies, dreams, tales, fables, animal stories...

All Rants :
The forum to express your complains, rage, negative lines about policy... If you had to be rude, please precise in the title with "Advisory".

All Natures :
Poems about nature in all its sides : elements, landscapes, evolution...

All Languages :
Foreign languages poetry only.

All Beliefs :
Poems about religion and beliefs, whatever it's to express your faith or your faithless. Be aware that readers won't always share your point of view, or beliefs.

All Sheets :
Erotic poems. It's actually not locked. Erotism has different degrees and we recommend you to add * , ** or *** according it's slightly erotic, truly expressive of lust or extremely hot (or pornographic).

Last warning : it is always better and make the reading so much easier to open wide your window.
